Our festive wreath workshops are one of our most popular Christmas team activities. Each one-hour workshop includes all materials and an expert instructor. We host festive wreath workshops across London and the UK, as well as virtual workshops across UK, EU and USA. Priced at £50pp + VAT, with discounts available for large groups. FAQ
Q - How does set up work?
A - Our instructor arrives 1 hour before the event to set up. After the workshop they generally need 30 mins to clear down but allow 1 hour to be safe.
Q - How does the delivery of materials work?
A - To help make our workshop as sustainable and smooth as possible, we ship the materials by DPD. The box is 60x60x45cm, and weighs about 10-20kg depending on group size. It will arrive 1-4 work days before the event and can be kept anywhere cool and dry. If storage is not possible, the instructor can bring materials on the day.
Q - We would like it to last longer than an hour
A - Great, it's good to allow 1 hour 15 mins if you can, an hour is a good guide for most events though. If you'd like a longer event, or to work it around drinks/nibbles just let us know, we are quite flexible!
Q - We would like it to be shorter or more flexible
A - You might prefer a drop-in style workshop over 2-3 hours. This works well for large groups, or around other activites. We set up a few tables with materials and guests can stop by and be helped with making their wreath in their own time. They generally need less time with this method, around 30 mins each on average, but they have the flexibility to stay for shorter or longer as they like.
Q - What is the difference between the standard and large wreath option?
A - The standard wreath uses a 20cm wreath ring and is about 30cm diameter when finished. The large wreath is a 30cm ring that is about 40cm finished. They use the same types of materials, although the large wreath often has a second type of green foliage depending on availability - often conifer to go along with the Christmas tree foliage. The small wreath comes with 3 x orange slixes and 3 x pine cones, the large wreath comes with 5 x orange slices and 5 x pine cones (we include a bag of extras too). The large wreath comes with double the dried/preserved grasses, seed heads, bunny tails and sprayed twigs.
Q - How will guests get the wreaths home?
A - We provide paper bags for the wreaths. The finished wreaths are 30cm (standard) or 40cm (large) so they aren't too bulky to carry home on the tube.
Q - We would like to host this at our office, what do you need from us? I'm concerned about the tables/floors.
A - Just tables and chairs for the guests. If you have a space with hard floors this is preferred, if the space is carpeted we just ask that you provide a vacuum cleaner for our host to use at the end of the session. We provide place mats to keep the tables from getting too messy. We pre-portion the materials so there is minimal mess., this also reduces the chance of sap releasing form the foliage, the place mats stop this from hitting the tables anyway. The instructor will have a dustpan and brush to clear the tables as well as bin bags and can take waste away with them if required.
Q - We don't know how many people will want to join yet
A - No problem! Please book based on your minimum expected number, we can then confirm final numbers up to 10 days before the event.
Q - How does invoicing work?
A - We generaly invoice on the week of the event. The invoice can be paid by bank transfer or by online card payment, Amex is fine. 30 day payment terms.
Q - We would like to host this at an external venue
A - No problem! All we need are tables and chairs (optional) for the guests. Guests need about as much space as if they were dining. If you need help finding a venue let us know as we have worked with a few good ones in the past.
Q - Is everything included?
A - Yes, the price includes all the materials and instruction for guests to each make their own beautiful wreath. Travel is free based on Central London, get in touch for a quote for outside London. For larger groups this is often low/free.
Q - How do the hybrid workshops work?
A - We ship full wreath kits to guests joining remotely (UK, EU or USA). We just ask you to set up the AV link, our instructor will handle the rest on the day.
