10 year anniversary

We are very happy to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary :) We aren't sure exactly what date we started, but some time around the festive period I made some terrariums as Christmas gifts. We had some materials left and made up some more to sell at Brixton market. We kept this up on Saturdays, I would drive the materials to London from Southampton and make terrariums with Madeleine on the balcony of her flat.

This was a fun hobby that slowly and unexpectedly turned in to our jobs! I was doing a PhD in Web Science at the time and Mads was working for an environmental charity. What started as a nice way to make a bit of extra cash to spend on a night out after the market became our living and we couldn't be happier. It has been such a pleasure working with plants and learning about a field that I knew very little about at the time (Mads was the botanical expert and still is really). We have met so many lovely people over the years at our workshops and we truly enjoy sharing time with people while teaching them how to make something beautiful with plants. There is something really mindful and special about spending time doing this, and we consider ourselves very lucky to get to do this, along with our team who we are very thankful to work with too. To celebrate our 10 year anniverary we will have a 10% discount on kits on our website til the end of Jan.

New workshop dates

We have recently added a new public workshop date for early 2026, including a pre-Valentines Bouquet workshop! If you fancy a relaxed, hands on session where you learn useful floral techniques and leave with something beautiful, these are for you.

• Hand-tied Bouquet Workshop, 13:15 to 14:15

All materials are provided, and you will go home with your finished terrarium or bouquet, plus guidance on how to care for it.
